Tannoy will have a dual presence at the ABTT Theatre Show next week, with both of their most recent innovations in loudspeaker technology being demonstrated across two different stands. The InAVation Award winning QFLEX digital beam-steering product will be on show at the MIDAS ProSound stand, where Tannoy's David Thomson along with Director of Business Development, Graham Hendry, will be on hand to explain what the revolutionary product can offer to theatre acousticians. Elsewhere, Tannoy's much talked about VQ system will be on show – in its new ‘LIVE' guise – on the Red Square Audio stand. Offering significant and tangible benefits over many existing solutions: sonic superiority, far less boxes required, lower costs, and full VNET implementation (allowing system setup and ongoing venue network control), VQ LIVE has the potential to be a true line array killer with better pattern control and SPL from a single cabinet than a 4 or 5 enclosure line array. The exhibition, which takes place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster, London from 10th to 11th June, sold out at the end of April, with pre-registrations 20 percent up on the same time last year.
